Kelly Davis is a Montréal-based painter whose work explores mystical and altered states of perception. Working primarily in oil, Davis investigates light as a shifting perceptual field. Her work resists fixity, blurs boundaries, and behaves as unstable images in which meaning emerges through encounter. With a background in performance, her practice is rooted in corporeal awareness and deep listening, maintaining an ongoing engagement with the body as a site of expanded consciousness.

Davis recently exhibited at Feria Material in Mexico City with twoseventwo (Toronto). She has exhibited across Canada at venues such as TAP Art Space, Galerie Deschênes, (Montreal), VIVO Media Arts Centre, INDEX Gallery, and Western front (Vancouver). She received a 2024 artch fellowship for emerging artists, where she developed a new body of work. In 2025, she was a resident artist at Casa Lü Parque in Mexico City and was selected to present at Foire Plural with Loto-Québec x artch. Her work is held in private collections across Canada, the United States, Mexico and the United Kingdom. This summer, she will present new work at Pierre-François Ouellette Art Contemporain in Montréal, and is developing a solo with twoseventwo for 2027.
